Summary: Complete your college applications in just one week.
Ideal for: One & Done is for serious rising high school seniors who have thought a great deal about college, value their time, and want to finish the strongest possible college applications effectively and efficiently.
Details: Craft and complete amazing college applications worthy of acceptance to the world’s top colleges in a manner that won’t distract you (for more than one week) from everything else going on in your life. Unlike application boot camps that help students start the process of completing college applications, One & Done ensures students start AND finish the process of completing amazing and differentiated college applications in just one week. The personalized One & Done program is made for students who want an edge in the college admissions process because college applications completed during One & Done are simply unrivaled in quality and attention to detail.
Craig engages with only one student/family over the course of one week in order to ensure the student defines an application strategy, finalizes his/her college list, writes a compelling extracurricular resume, and completes the Common Application essay, supplemental college essays, and the overall Common Application. Time permitting, Craig will also conduct mock college interviews with the student to prepare him/her for all-important alumni and on-campus interviews that take place later in the fall.
It’s no longer enough to be a strong applicant; students have to present themselves as strong applicants. One & Done helps students do just that! Propel your college applications to the next level with the unsurpassed college application support that defines One & Done.
Two One & Done sessions remain available in 2021. Booking for 2022 One & Done sessions will open on December 15, 2021.
Session M: October 17, 2021 – October 23, 2021 Available
Session N: October 24, 2021 – October 30, 2021 Available
Where does One & Done take place?
In 2021 all sessions take place via video conference. Craig hopes to offer on-location sessions again in 2022.
After I register, do things get started on the first day of my assigned week?
No. Within 48 hours of registration, Craig will send both the student and parent(s) in-depth questionnaires to complete. These questionnaires must be completed no fewer than three weeks before One & Done begins because two weeks before the start of a student’s One & Done, Craig will engage with the student in a pre-One & Done college admissions counseling session. By the time a student’s One & Done week begins, and in collaboration with Craig, the student is ready to hit the ground running tactically implementing their preplanned college application completion strategy.
Will student participants work with Craig or some sort of assistant?
Unlike many college application boot camps that are headlined by well-known (and quite joyless and unimpressive) college admissions consultants but primarily worked by part-time college interns who are tasked with instruction of student participants and editing their essays, One & Done is led and operated entirely by college admissions expert Craig. In addition to having independent daily dedicated drafting time, students have access to exclusive one-on-one college application coaching and engagement sessions with Craig for the full seven-day program. Craig does not outsource.
What will my child accomplish?
By the end of the one-week program the student will have finalized his or her extracurricular resume, Common App essay, Common App, and at least six Common App supplements (or the equivalent) while also developing – through strategy sessions and mock interviews – a college admissions interview game plan.
More Questions? Spending thousands of dollars for anything – let alone one week of intensive college admissions coaching – is a big deal! Yet, for the right students and right families, One & Done is a very wise strategic investment. Craig only wants right-fit students to take part in One & Done; therefore, he is happy to answer your questions about One & Done in order to ensure that you make the right choice related to taking part. If you have questions about the One & Done program or to inquire about remaining availability for 2020 or advanced booking for 2021, please contact Craig here or call +1 410-526-2558 in order to engage in a free twenty-minute question-and-answer session with Craig before deciding whether signing up for One & Done makes sense for you (or your student).
