A magna cum laude graduate from the University of Pennsylvania, Craig earned his Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA and worked in both Penn’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Office of International Programs before relocating to New York City to work as a communications consultant. In New York, Craig developed innovative communication and investor relations strategies for some of the world’s most successful corporations.
Craig eventually earned an MA in Educational Administration and Leadership, served as an admissions officer for a public university, and led innovative and highly successful college and career counseling offices at high schools in Baltimore, West Palm Beach, and Rio de Janeiro. His myriad experiences allow him to be the strongest possible advocate for high school students and parents as they navigate the college admissions process.
Craig founded a one-man college consulting practice in 2006. Over the next eight years this small operation grew leaps and bounds. What started with just one Baltimore-based client in March of 2006, served its 1,000th client, located, in of all places, Alexandria, Egypt, in 2014.
As he approached a decade as a college admissions consultant in early 2015, Craig turned his attention to developing the undisputed leading online purveyor of honest and straightforward admissions news and information. Today, Admissions.Blog is the world’s most trusted source of free unfiltered undergraduate admissions guidance. Meanwhile, CollegeMeister services remain in high demand around the world as Craig continues to develop innovative and industry-leading best practices to best serve his clients as they navigate the ever-changing undergraduate admissions processes to top colleges in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. When students and families work with Craig, they receive an honest appraisal of college prospects, the latest research and statistics, a strategic mindset, and determined implementation. When schools work with Craig, they receive the expertise necessary to dramatically enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of their college/career counseling offices.

In addition to his CollegeMeister work, which now includes a library of YouTube videos and a couple of online college admissions courses, and publishing Admissions.Blog, Craig regularly serves as a guest speaker at companies, schools, non-profits, community centers, and houses of worship around the world. He is entertaining, informative, and an authority at shedding light on the far too shady U.S. college admissions landscape.
