Where does Spring Into Action take place?
My support is delivered via video conferences, in emails, and on shared documents.
After I register, when do things get started?
While we start taking part in formal video conference sessions as early as March 20, 2025 or as late as April 24, 2025, within 48 hours of reserving your Spring Into Action spot I send the student and parent(s) an electronic intake form to complete, which must be completed no less than one week before their Spring Into Action experience commences.
Do Spring Into Action participants work with Craig?
Yes! Unlike many college application boot camps and intensives that are headlined by well-known college admissions consultants but primarily worked by part-time college interns, writers, or English teachers who are tasked with instructing students and editing their essays, Spring Into Action is led and entirely operated by me. I do not outsource.
What does a Spring Into Action student accomplish?
In just thirty days or fewer the student completes an impressive extracurricular résumé, the Activities page of the Common Application, an authentic and endearing Common App essay, and, if necessary, the remainder of the Common App’s Writing page.
How will I complete these parts of the Common App “to the highest standard” so fast?
I prioritize providing personalized attention, and my approach is one of quality over quantity; therefore, I work with only ten Spring Into Action students annually.
Why don’t you offer a Spring Into Action experience to complete the full Common App?
A student should use the spring before the formal start to his or her college application cycle to perfect the most critically important foundational components of his or her Common App. Unfortunately, most colleges don’t release their college-specific Common App supplemental questions until July or August, which makes it impossible to complete an entire Common App until the first week of August at the earliest. Yet, if a Spring Into Action student wants work with me through the process of completing his or her entire Common App and one Common App supplement by no later than August 10, 2025, he or she can certainly do so by selecting the “One & Done” add-on above. If a student would like to work with me through the process of completing multiple full applications (to Common App colleges and/or other colleges), he or she should engage in Simply Meticulous.
Can I start my Georgetown, MIT, or UC application as part of Spring Into Action?
No. Spring Into Action is specifically designed for students who want to get a jump start on completing the Common App. I am unable to support students who want to start applications other than the Common App through Spring Into Action. I do, however, support students on applications beyond the Common App through Simply Meticulous.
If I like what I get out of Spring Into Action, can I upgrade to Simply Meticulous later?
Maybe. If after completing Spring Into Action you want my support on multiple college applications, you can upgrade to Simply Meticulous as long as I still have space available.
