Frequently Asked Questions
Where does Early Bird August take place?
My support is delivered via video conferences, in emails, on shared documents, and through occasional phone calls.
After I register, do things get started on the first day of August?
While we will start taking part in formal video conference sessions on August 1, 2, or 3, within 48 hours reserving your Early Bird August spot, I will send the student and parent(s) an electronic intake form to complete, which must be completed no less than one week before their Early Bird August experience commences so that by the first day of the experience we’re all prepared to begin tactically implementing the personalized college application completion strategy I’ve developed for the student.
Will Early Bird August participants work with Craig?
Yes! Unlike many college application boot camps and intensives that are headlined by well-known college admissions consultants but primarily worked by part-time college interns, writers, or English teachers who are tasked with instruction of student participants and editing their essays, Early Bird August is led and entirely operated by me. I do not outsource.
What will an Early Bird August student accomplish?
By the end of August the student will have finalized and completed to an extremely high standard his or her extracurricular resume, Common App essay, Common App, and one, two, or three Common App supplement(s) (or the equivalent for students applying to a non-Common App college like Georgetown, MIT, or a UC).
Why don’t you offer an Early Bird August experience to complete more than three applications?
I strongly recommend each student focuses the early weeks of his or her college application completion process on perfecting the various application components of his or her top choice college(s). If, after doing so, the student would like to work with me through the process of completing more applications, he or she can always upgrade Early Bird August to Simply Meticulous.
Spending thousands of dollars for anything – let alone one month of intensive college application completion support – is a big deal! Yet, for the right students and right families, Early Bird August is a very wise strategic investment. I only want right-fit students to take part in Early Bird August; therefore, I am happy to answer your questions about this experience in order to ensure that you make the right choice related to taking part. If you have questions about this experience or to inquire about remaining availability for 2024 or advanced booking for 2025, please contact me here or call +1 410-526-2558 in order to engage in a conversation with me before deciding whether signing up for my Early Bird August makes sense for you (or your student).
