Frequently Asked Questions
Where does Early Bird August take place?
My support is delivered via video conferences, in emails, on shared documents, and through occasional phone calls.
After I register, do things get started on the first day of August?
While we start taking part in formal video conference sessions on August 1, 2, or 3, within 48 hours reserving your Early Bird August spot I send the student and parent(s) an electronic intake form to complete, which must be completed no less than one week before their Early Bird August experience commences so that by the first day of the experience we’re all prepared to begin tactically implementing the individualized college application completion strategy I’ve developed for the student.
Do Early Bird August participants work with Craig?
Yes! Unlike many college application boot camps and intensives that are headlined by well-known college admissions consultants but primarily worked by part-time college interns, writers, or English teachers who are tasked with instruction of student participants and editing their essays, Early Bird August is led and entirely operated by me. I do not outsource.
What does an Early Bird August student accomplish?
By the end of August the student completes to an extremely high standard his or her extracurricular resume, Common App essay, Common App, and one, two, or three Common App supplement(s) (or the equivalent for students applying to a non-Common App college like Georgetown, MIT, or a UC).
How will I complete my Early Bird August App(s) “to an extremely high standard” so fast?
I prioritize providing personalized attention, and my approach is one of quality over quantity; therefore, I give support on a grand total of only fifteen Early Bird August applications annually.
Why don’t you offer an Early Bird August experience to complete more than three applications?
I strongly recommend each student focuses the early weeks of his or her college application completion process on perfecting the various application components of his or her top choice college(s). If, after doing so, the student would like to work with me through the process of completing more applications, he or she can always upgrade Early Bird August to Simply Meticulous.
